We have been enjoying reading The BFG in Year 3. After reading about the dreams that the BFG collected, the children used their imaginations to create their own dreams. They started by painting a dream setting and thought about how to describe it using the senses and expanded noun phrases.

They planned for something to happen in their setting and then wrote their dreams, including lots of detail to create a picture in the reader's mind.

Finally, they presented them onto jar shapes and they are displayed in the classrooms.
