Our topic in DT is bread and this week was our first lesson. It was the best one we could ask for: bread tasting! We tried all sorts of bread, which were: cheese and black pepper bread, raisin loaf, tomato and rosemary flatbread, garlic bread, red onion flatbread, naan, bagel, sunflower and pumpkin, brioche, chocolate chip bread, fruit loaf and orange. Most of them were delicious. The year really enjoyed themselves. It has given us lots of inspiration for our own designer breads we will do later in the half term. Now we also know about different breads that we didn't know existed! Yum!  If your kid asks for a type of bread they never asked for before now you know why!
