Last week, we were incredibly proud of our Y3/4 boys cross country team. They came a fantastic 3rd place  at the South Yorkshire Cross Country Championships. They got to this event by being in the top six highest scoring schools in Sheffield in the first four cross country season races (that occur on Saturday mornings at different venues around Sheffield). On this occasion, they represented both Sheffield and Lydgate Junior School against other schools around the whole of South Yorkshire.  They got bronze medals for obtaining the third best finishing position total as a team. An amazing achievement - well done!
