This half term we made Egyptian Amulets out of clay for Art, we found it super fun! We also stuck/pressed jewels/beads onto the clay to make it look amazing and realistic. When the clay had dried we started to paint it Egyptian colours such as red,yellow,blue,silver and gold, the colours made a fascinating texture to them and made it quite realistic. Some of us (cough) Bella and Isla (cough) mixed colours to make beautiful,shiny,bold paints such as the colour we made, a shiny,sparkly rose gold. People made cat eyes,the Sphinx,Eye of Horus,pyramids and necklace pieces! We're pretty sure everyone enjoyed this activity because we sure did!
