As well as their home learning, Year 6 pupils have been keeping themselves busy in lots of different ways...

One Year 6 pupil has been working hard on a charity projectfor Burngreave food bank. He has been making hamma bead badges and selling themin aid of the food bank. Impressively, he has made a grand total of £62.50,which has been sent to the charity. He has volunteered at the foodbank in the past and looks forward to doing so more regularly in the future.What an amazing achievement! Well done.

Also, two of ourpupils from Y6 have won lacrosse awards from Sheffield Steelers for ‘MostValued Player’ and ‘Most Improved Player’. The boys have worked really hard andhad some very early starts on Saturday mornings (pre lockdown) as they warm upfrom 9.15am ready for face-off at 10am and their away matches are all played inManchester. What fantastic achievements!
