Mummifying
Egyptian writing is what we have been doing so far in English and in numeracy we been doing rounding, roman numerals and negative numbers. In topic we are learning about ancient Egypt. In music we are learning the drums. In RE (religious education) we have been doing the brotherhood of the Khalsa. In science we have learnt properties of materials. Then we have been testing plain paper, sugar paper (not the one you can eat), tin foil, tissue paper and cotton cloth to see which is strongest. In handwriting some of us are trying to get our handwriting up to Y5 standard so now we are all doing are spelling words. On Monday mornings we do daily calculations. In our note books we have been collecting notes. In SPaG we are using fronted adverbials and on Tuesdays in Y5RJ we do our spelling test. It's been a busy term so far!
