The first week of a new normal

Hello everyone, we hope you are all staying safe, happy and healthy.

We have been getting used to doing things differently this week and we are so lucky that we've had some beautiful sunshine to help us along the way! Thanks you to all of you that have been getting in touch through our new year group email. Over the next few weeks, we are going to use our blog to share what we've all been getting up to.

Those of us in school have spent a lot of time outside - playing badminton, volleyball, swingball, in the woods or on the slide. We've also written poems, done some printing, made boxes from nets, made pizzas and had a karate lesson. Here we are in action.

There's been some great learning at home this week too. Thank you for sharing your activities with us. It's a lovely way for us to stay connected so keep them coming in.

Jess made this beautiful art work. She's also tuned into the livestream from Liverpool museum. What a great idea.

Jasmine did a fabulous job on her 'Keeping Healthy' poster. Good advice for all of us Jess. Well done.

Isabel treated her family to a forest schools session out in the garden, complete with golden tickets in return for hot chocolate. Good job!

Hannah has enjoyed playing badminton with her family and wanted to share this beautiful work. Looks like you've been busy Hannah. Well done.

Alex has been enjoying the online drawing workshops with Pete McKee and Rob Biddulph and also made this painting of an Aztec temple. Great work Alex!

Oliver has been making the most of the sunshine and making things outdoors.

He has also painted a rainbow for his window - there are lots of them around our community, which is lovely.

It's now the Easter holidays so we'll blog again when we return to this new normal in a couple of weeks. Until then, look after each other and stay safe.
