Year 4 had a very exciting day yesterday when we had the opportunity to race in the virtual velodrome. George, from Modeshift Stars, came into school to deliver an assembly about being bright and being seen during the dark winter months. As many of the children have dark winter coats, they were reminded to try and add something bright or reflective when walking, cycling or scooting.

George, who works with our school to encourage active travel, also let us have a go on the virtual velodrome. It was a lot harder than you'd think (especially for the teachers!) but the children impressed us with their lap times.

Even Mr Jones had a go!
