Last week was the final performance of Y5's version of 'There's a Boy in the Girls' Bathroom' by Louis Sachar. We have all been rehearsing, learning lines and practising songs for this play for weeks. All 120 children did a fabulous job! Our dress rehearsal, performed to the Y6s, was good but a little bit rusty. However, the final performance to parents went really smoothly and everyone had a great time. The acting was some of the best seen for a long time. Highlights included: some fantastic angry shouting (Danny and Kai playing lead character Bradley and his father), violent punch-up scenes (Sophia, Josh and James playing Melinda, Bradley and Jeff), a marriage proposal (Monty and Eve playing Bartholomew Bear and Ronnie Rabbit) and a fantastic birthday celebration and finale featuring visiting Blues Brothers (Daniel, Lula and Lola). The whole thing was a great experience and will be remembered for many years to come!
