Article 29 of the UNCRC states that your education should help you to use and develop your talents and abilities.
Twice a year, we choose a theme for the whole school to create art work that is displayed throughout the building. Every child in the school has a piece of art displayed and celebrated - that is over 480 pieces!
The children in Y3 have been busy developing their art skills over the last few weeks and have created some fantastic work for the new displays.
The current theme is famous art works. Each class has chosen a picture by a famous artist to inspire them to create their own art. All of the Y3 pictures are of animals.
Here are some of their creations:
Y3DdB looked at Surprised! by Henri Rousseau (1891)
Y3SH looked at The Snail by Henri Matisse (1953)
Y3AW looked at Monarch of the Glen by Sir Edward Landseer (1851)
Y3RH looked at Rhinoceros by Albrecht Durer (1515)
