Whole School Art

Article 29 of the UNCRC states that your education should help you to use and develop your talents and abilities.

Twice a year, we choose a theme for the whole school to create art work that is displayed throughout the building. Every child in the school has a piece of art displayed and celebrated - that is over 480 pieces!

The children in Y3 have been busy developing their art skills over the last few weeks and have created some fantastic work for the new displays.

The current theme is animals that are critically endangered. This links to our work on the Global Goals.

Here are the pieces created by Y3:

Y3AW used chalk pastels to create pandas.

Y3DdB created ivory billed woodpeckers using collage for the birds, watercolour paint for the trees and chalk pastels for the background.

Y3RH used oil pastels to draw Amur leopards.

Y3SH also used chalk pastels and created arroyo toads.
