The homework for this week is a creative one. We are starting a new unit of work on writing short adventure stories. We have been reading a range of stories and now the children are going to make up their own. They can choose any setting they like and be as imaginative and creative as they want in order to create a 'story in a shoebox'.

Please note that it is important that the children do not write their stories at home. They just need to think about their ideas and tell the story orally to someone so that they have it clear in their head when they come to write.
