Y3 visited Poole's Cavern in Buxton this week.

We had lovely weather for a walk up through Grin Low Woods to Soloman's Temple at the top of the hill. Whilst we were there, we made sketch maps of the area as we could see for miles around. We will be comparing those views to OS maps of the area in school next week.

We also had a guided tour of the beautiful cavern and learned a lot about the rock formations and history of the area.
