Last week we spent a glorious morning in the woods this week, taking a break from the sunshine in the dappled shade. The children let their imaginations run wild while creating woodland dwellings for forest fairies, cheeky gnomes, shy pixies and terrifying trolls. The children spent a long time foraging around the forest floor gathering all that they needed. Then they set to work building and making! As you can see from the photos, the folk of the forest have been spoilt rotten with their new houses. With a little extra help from some handy string, the children have created all manner of interesting things. Can you spot miniature rope swings, rope ladders and zip wires? As well as features such as bark rooves, pebble marked paths and even a swimming pool! Aren’t they impressive! After all that hard work, we finished with biscuits all round!
