After lots of work learning about the Great Sheffield Flood, this week we wrote our newspaper articles as if it has just happened. In Y5EC, we used the computers to type up our reports and make them look like real newspapers by using columns and justify - this is where the text is lined up on both sides to look like a column. We are really proud of our work.

In science this week, we were given caterpillars to carry out a 4 week observation of their life cycle. We learned how they turn from and egg, to a caterpillar, to a pupa, and finally into a butterfly. At the moment they are very small but we can't wait to see them grow!
