On Monday, our class (Y6R/J) went into the woods with Rohan. We did many different fun activities like den making, sharpening sticks to roast marshmallows and sword fighting with sticks that we sharpened with potato peelers. We rated each other’s dens after we finished making, and we gave all the dens a fancy name and price. After we made our marshmallow sticks we were taught how to set a fire with flint and steel. Once we had learned how to do that, we had our delicious marshmallows, they were perfect with hot chocolate. There were arts and crafts for the people who wanted to do them, the shape was like a spider web and you could do many different colours.
