Friday 11th October

Bikeability.
This week, despite the weather, Year 6 have been doing Bikeability training. We have been learning how to ride safely on the road. With the help of three leaders (Shayn, Paul and Darrel) we, Y6NL, feel more comfortable riding on the road. We have had two levels: level one was to make sure everyone could ride a bike and not fall; level two was riding on the road. Although we got very wet, we still enjoyed it!

Y6NL Forest Schools.
We had our first Forest Schools session this week. We went into the forest and made some woodland creatures, only using 4 materials: string, fabric, leaves and felt tips. As well as decorating them, we had to name them and give them a super power. Next week we will be making them homes so they can live in an amazing house. We all enjoyed this activity. Everyone found a new friend within these little creatures and is looking forward to making them a home.

Y6HN

It has been a very busy week for HN this week. We have completed lots of assessments, some of us took part in Bikeability and we all spent Friday in the woods (and in the rain). We had a brilliant time in the woods our favourite part was definitely playing hide and seek. Here's a picture of us enjoying our hot chocolate.

Stars of the Week
