We have been working hard on our contributions to the whole school art theme for our displays around school. Our kites are just beautiful!  The theme is the four elements. Can you work out what theme we are representing?

Y4 Violet and Y4 Bluebell met a real Roman today, learned a lot about the Roman Empire and army and became Romans for a drama performance! We had lots of fun! 

 We learnt new words and numbers in Greek and Spanish, we were treated to a history lesson all about southern Ireland, we listened to facts from Switzerland and we loved the jelabi and unniyappam which are sweet treats from India. What a lovely day!

Y4 Bluebell and Y4 Violet had an exciting first session in the woods! We heard a Nordic folk tale about Jack  who outsmarted an evil troll! We then made our own clay trolls by collecting natural materials and working together! 

Year 4 Bluebells used water to investigate how many lots of one are in 1,000, how many lots of ten are in 1,000 and how many hundreds are in 1,000.
