❄️Year 6 were visited by Nigel Vardy (aka Mr Frostbite), who shared his incredible story of being one of three people rescued from Mount Denali in one of the highest helicopter rescues ever to take place in North America. His story was a brilliant introduction to our next topic: Extreme Environments ❄️

⭐️Well done to these girls who went to play a friendly game of netball against St Marie’s today. They made fabulous progress throughout the afternoon and look forward to playing more games in the future. ⭐️

Eco Club are holding their Christmas Bring and Buy sale on Wednesday 3rd December from 3.15pm to 4pm in the Y5 bases. Donations of clothes, games, books and good quality bric a brac can be brought into school before the sale and given to Mrs Holden in Nuthatch or Miss Lee in Mayfly. There will also be lots of beautiful Christmas decorations for sale made by our Eco Club children

Lots of tired, muddy but happy children heading back to school.
A huge thank you to Mrs Purdom our Year 4 team leader for organising an incredible experience for our children.
Thank you to all our wonderful staff and parents that have enabled this trip to happen. It's a big ask doing a sleepover but it's so worth it seeing the children's excitement.

Our amazing athletics team are through to the next round of this competition ( the area finals) in December.  The support and encouragement they gave each other throughout the event was as wonderful as their performance. Well done team.
