There is no spelling homework for this week as we are revising the high frequency words from Key Stage 1. Here are the new lists for this half term.

The children in Y3 used their imaginations to write about magical dreams and presented them on BFG dream jars.

We have been learning about the Global Goals in Year 3.

We have been thinking about simple past tense and have looked at regular and irregular spellings of past tense verbs.

For homework this week, we have sent home a board game to play.

We have been writing instructions for how to look after a giant.

The homework for this week is about imperative verbs.

In Year 3 we have started learning about the United Nations Convention on The Rights of The Child (UNCRC) because every child has the right to learn about their rights (Article 42).

In our Science lessons, the children are learning about the skeletons of different animals. They have looked at the human skeleton and thought about why we have bones.

From this week, the children will be bringing home a spelling list to learn every Monday. An accompanying letter has been sent home to explain which words we would like them to learn each week.The spelling lists for the whole of this half term are below:
