This week was the last week working on geometry in Year 3. We have worked with 2D and 3D shapes and have used lots of mathematical vocabulary to describe them including:

horizontal,

vertical,

parallel,

perpendicular,

right angle,

acute angle,

obtuse angle,

clockwise,

anti-clockwise,

polygon,

regular,

irregular,

and the names of many shapes (one of our favourites is the dodecahedron).

A sheet of 'end of topic' questions has been sent home for homework. Please return it by Friday 14th June.
